What we eat:

At “Vivi and Uffe’s” you eat primarily food prepared from organic raw materials.

Example of Breakfast buffet: Home-baked bread, scrambled egg with Serrano ham, tomatoes and spring onion, goats’ cheese, medium and strong cheesse, smoked filet of turkey, lamb sausages from local producer, garlic sausages, fresh fruit, juice, milk and yoghurt with muesli and roasted kernels. Coffee and Bakkegården’s selection of Teas.

Example of 2 course menu:
Starter: Crab salad with avocado, served on a base of baby lettuce, accompanied by home-baked bread.
Main course: Dijon-marinated breast of chicken, spiced with pieces of Serrano ham, carrot/lemon sauce made from organic vegetables, spiced with a pinch of mint and turned in a meagre cream cheese.

Fish courses: Salmon wrapped in Serrano ham steamed in apple juice adjusted with chilli and lemon, served with chips made from new potatoes – steamed in beer (“Honey Stout” from Møn’s Brewery), accompanied by steamed sugar peas, turned in home-made tomato pesto and sprinkled with grated Primadonna cheese.

Desserts: Resle-rhubarb with yoghurt. Home-made warm rhubarb pudding with crushed macaroons and baked pieces of almonds and topped with a spoonful of Greek yoghurt.
